National Environmental Modeling & Analysis Center

As NEMAC’s Principal Designer, I led the visual identity and presentation of all products, collaborating with partners to develop impactful solutions optimized for public communication. I directed branding, outreach strategies, and created assets for web, print, video, and live events. Key projects included the U.S. Climate Resilience Toolkit, the Appalachian LCC's Guide to Ecosystem Services, and the Southern Appalachian Vitality Index. My expertise in visual communication and scientific data supported informed decision-making in communities.

As part of NEMAC's web development team, I designed data visualizations and interfaces while managing the graphic identity of projects such as the USDA Forest Service’s ForWarn, the USGCRP's National Climate Assessment authorship portal, and the Western North Carolina Vitality Index. I also managed NEMAC’s Drupal-based web presence.

I oversaw NEMAC’s undergraduate internship program, managing 5–15 interns per semester. I handled hiring, liaised with campus administration, and ensured interns gained hands-on experience in web tools, GIS mapping, and professional networking in the scientific community.
